Michigan State big man Jaren Jackson, Jr. was selected #4 overall by the Memphis Grizzlies tonight.  Just eight spots later the Los Angeles Clippers picked Miles Bridges and quickly shipped him off to the Charlotte Hornets.

Moments after he told ESPN about Charlotte when asked if he had even worked out for them, “No, but I love the city of Charlotte and I know a lot of guys there.”  He said of his choice to return to MSU that saw him go #12 tonight when projected last year from 14-18, “It is just a blessing to be here.  All the Glory to God and my Mom and a shout out to the city of Flint.  Coach Izzo he just pushed me every day.  He wanted me to be the best player and I give all the grace to him and God.”
