Mark Dantonio and the #5 Michigan State Spartans landed their 10th commitment for the 2019 class, their third offensive lineman and first pledge for this class from the Hoosier state. Offensive lineman Damon Kaylor.
The mammoth 6’6” 315# offensive line with stunning athleticism and great drive made his pledge tonight.
Previously Kaylor told Spartan Nation, “Michigan State being the first really means a lot to me.” He added, “I really liked the energy at the practice, how the guys go out and compete against each other,” he said. “I liked what I saw.”’

Kaylor said of his improved play over his junior year that earned him such national attention that, “I’ve definitely improved a lot in my pass blocking in the past year,” he said. “We do a lot of run blocking at my school, so I think I’m pretty good at that as well. But I’ve been going to a lot of camps and working on my pass blocking a lot and I think I’ve really improved on that.”
