Mark Dantonio and the #5 Michigan State Spartans picked up their eighth commitment for the 2019 football recruiting class. The Spartans landed LB Luke Fulton from Cardinal Mooney High School in Youngstown, OH.
Spartan Nation has profiled Fulton before who said of Michigan State, “Getting to see all of the facilities, the facilities were great, getting to talk to the coaches and spend time with them. Then going to that basketball game, and it turned out to be a pretty crazy game to go to, they beat Purdue on that last second three, so that was a pretty cool game.”

Fulton is the second linebacker to commit to the Spartans for 2019, the other being Marcel Lewis of Clinton Township, MI. He is also the second player to commit from the state of Ohio, the other being Jase Bowen. Bowen is a WR out of Toledo, OH.
Fulton also said back in February after visiting a basketball game and getting offered that, “Right after they offered, they made it clear that if I were to commit tomorrow, they would welcome me with open arms,” he said. “So it was really cool knowing they want me that much and that they have that much interest in me, where that could definitely be a place where I can go and be loved there. That would be really cool.”
