Tom Izzo and the Michigan State Spartans signed in their 2018 basketball recruiting class a big man that hasn’t garnered a ton of attention.  Thomas Kithier from Clarkston, MI High School wasn’t allowed to play last season by the MHSAA, but that doesn’t mean he couldn’t practice.  While sitting under the tutelage of one of the nation’s elite coaches in Dane Fife, Kithier worked in practice every day on his game.

Spartan Nation traveled to Clarkston to talk to the Spartans future star.  We discuss get into detail about how improved his game is and his maturity.  Kithier has grown up after what the MHSAA did to him and he enters Michigan State ready to take on his critics with a renewed, “Love of the game.”
