Michigan State and now NFL Pittsburgh Steeler star LeVeon Bell was given a three game suspension in 2015  for a violation of the NFL’s substance abuse policy after being arrested for possession of marijuana and DUI during the previous summer.  That put Bell in the leagues disciplinary program.

Now it has surfaced that Bell is appealing (that is why it has not been announced) a four game suspension to start the 2016 season for failing another drug test.  Sources VERY CLOSE to LeVeon Bell confirmed to Spartan Nation that, “It isn’t for actually failing a test, but missing one.  The league considers a missed test as a failure.”

Back on April 20 Bell Tweeted about a random drug test.  My source close to Bell would not confirm if that Tweet was related to this or not.  Stay tuned.
