Spartan Nation knows how great Coach Mannie is.  Mark Dantonio has called him, “Our third coordinator,” and he is treated reverently around the world of football, college or pro.  Mannie is so well respected that he could pick up the phone and call ANY NFL or college team and take over their strength and conditioning today.

He was nominated by his peers to be the strength and conditioning coach of the year and he won that award today.  The website FootballScoop.com is one of the most respected football websites at any level of the game.  It is the go to site for coaches wanting the latest information on jobs, rumblings of who is being hired/fired and innovation.  They are the ones to give Mannie the award.
