EXCLUSIVE BREAKING NEWS:  Tyler Hoover tells MSU today:  I am a Spartan!

MSU gets more defensive help with a big commitment for the 2008 recruiting class today!  Tyler Hoover, the 6’7” and 250# DE from Novi was on campus and made it official that that he wants to be a Spartan.  This is a huge commitment for the Spartans who add his commitment to a list of impressive candidates considering MSU and joining Coach Dantonio’s second class.

Hoover has excellent feet and even though he is large he has good mobility.  Hoover is considered by all accounts to be one of the top ten talents in the state, with some seeing him as high as the top five.

He is Dantonio’s second commitment from the top ten of the state, the other being Charles Burrell, the DB from Detroit.  It is fitting that MSU should be making a splash so early on the defensive side of the ball, that is not only MSU’s biggest need but also the expertise of the Spartan Nation’s Mark Dantonio.

The Spartans are also in the early running for two more potential difference makers who both also reside among the top ten players in the state.  Jonas Gray RB and Kenny Demens LB, both of Detroit Country Day are considered to be among the elite in the nation themselves at their respected positions.  Both of them are very interested in the Spartans.
