Hello folks!
Thanks again for taking the time to read Spartan Nation.

  • Don’t forget to join me each weeknight for Mid-Michigan’s most sports at 6:15 p.m.
  • All this week you will hear from Tom Izzo on the evening news as he breaks down what went wrong this season.
  • The Spartan Nation’s Kelvin Sampson is going to be hired at Indiana University.  I love Kelvin, but I don’t think this is a good situation for him.  IU is fortunate to get him.
  • I still think Joey Harrington will be a Chief, but don’t be surprised if the Dolphins get him.  Saban would love to get him and show up the Lions.
  • According to one person “very close” to MSU spring ball, the attitude has been “very exciting” and the players all seem to have something that was missing before.
  • As MSU hockey recovers from the tough loss in Albany, but reflects on a great season, optimism is at an all time high with this young team.
  • The Tigers are so loaded with talent that they gave Carlos Pena his outright release, because other clubs knew that there was no way that someone wouldn’t fall through the cuts.
  • Cubs Manager Dusty Baker continues to leave fans and players in dismay over some of his decisions.  If the Cubs struggle (if? LMAO) look for the possibility of Dusty being a mid season termination.
  • If Lebron James does not resign with the Cavs, (and close sources to the Cavs tell me they are bracing for it) then look for Grand Rapids owned Orlando Magic to make the biggest push for him.  Sources have told me that they believe the Magic are set to make that move.
  • Grant Hill has told people that since the Magic are going to buy out the last year of his contract that he would love to return to D-town.  Sorry folks, I had to laugh!
  • Flip Saunders is making some people on the Piston’s question the amount of minutes he is playing his main guys.  Those are the same issues that plagued him if Minneapolis.
  • It is only 6 months and 10 days until the MSU vs. UM football game!

Thanks everyone, hug your loved ones and remind them that you love them!
